Fishing At Panguitch Lake UtahPanguitch Lake offers some excellent trout fishing all year. You can fish the shore on most of the lake and boats are available for rent. The lake is 1,234 surface acres when full and 50 feet deep. It is the largest lake on Cedar Mountain. The lake is great to ice fish at as well. Streams running into the lake and Panguitch Creek coming out of the lake have great fly and lure fishing. There are other areas on the mountain to fish as well including Navajo Lake, Duck Creek, and Mammoth Creek. Always be sure to check current fishing proclamations for rules and regulations. These can be picked up at most Walmarts, bait shops, gas stations, etc. in the area. Also some waters on private property may be reserved for residents or land owners only, but there are plenty of fishing areas open to the public all over this area. Go Back<-<-<- |
